Role Summary

Purpose of Job: Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that include treasury, financial accounting and reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, audit and tax matters. Participate in finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
  • Liaise with the shared service team, interfirm team and respective business units to follow up and handle ServiceNow requests, refund requests and contra settlements.
  • Reconcile unapplied cash receipts by identifying exceptions and discrepancies and match to the invoices.
  • Prepare daily/weekly cash reports, monthly bank reconciliations and journals.
  • Handle the timely preparation of month-end closing reports and schedules.
  • Involve in regulatory compliance such as preparation of government surveys and statistics reporting.
  • Handle GST and Withholding Tax accounting, reporting and filing.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement of finance processes.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties/projects assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in accounting or similar certification with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player.
  • Resourceful, meticulous, organized, independent and able to multi-task.
  • Confident with handling data and figures.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of SAP HANA would be advantageous.
