The Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) organization manages relationships with millions of merchants and partners worldwide that facilitate American Express acceptance and support the day-to-day operations of the company’s payment network.

The GMNS Pricing team manages the company’s largest source of revenue: merchant discount revenue. By leveraging customer-centric pricing principles and innovative pricing solutions, the team develops merchant pricing strategies that encourage acceptance, expand coverage, increase merchant satisfaction, and drive GMNS revenue and profit.

Role Overview

The Analyst, U.S. Third-Party Partners (TPP) Pricing, supports partnership strategies, pricing analyses, partner negotiations, and results reporting. This role provides decision-making support to relationship management and sales teams by delivering insights that drive growth among U.S. small-merchant partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Support partnership strategies and pricing analyses for U.S. Third-Party Partners.
  • Support partner negotiations and report business results.
  • Provide insights that guide relationship management and sales decisions.
  • Help drive growth among U.S. small-merchant partnerships.
  • Support broad-scale pricing initiatives that preserve the discount rate while balancing profitable charge volume growth and merchant expansion.
