About the Role

AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL) is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will drive documentation standardization, create internal enablement resources, build operational playbooks, and explore agentic AI solutions within a global supply chain that powers AWS infrastructure worldwide.

You will leverage Amazon’s suite of AI tools, Amazon Quick, and its underlying models to optimize your workflow and productivity while developing your AI expertise.

Key Job Responsibilities

Site Management Framework and Governance

• Conduct site visits across APAC warehouses to understand operations firsthand.
• Assess gaps in existing standard operating procedures, governance, and reporting.
• Develop a standardized Site Management Framework covering vendor governance, service-level agreement management, performance scorecards, root cause corrective action (RCCA) processes, and escalation matrices.
• Establish a sustainable review cadence with clear ownership to ensure the framework remains current beyond the internship.

SOP Development and Process Documentation

• Author Standard Operating Procedures for key warehouse operational areas, including receiving, outbound operations, inventory management, and exception handling.
• Develop standardized work instructions and process flows to enable consistent execution across sites.
• Create documentation that accelerates onboarding for new team members and warehouse service provider staff.
• Ensure all documentation is repeatable, clear, and audit-ready.

Data, Analytics, and Automation

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring operational workflows using AI agent tooling and Python.
• Explore automation for daily metrics consolidation, exception alerting, SLA tracking, and vendor performance reporting.
• Build automated workflows and document them as replicable playbooks for adoption across the APAC network.

A Day in the Life

No two days look the same, but every day has a rhythm. Your morning might begin by supporting an operational task, such as pulling data, updating a tracker, or preparing materials for an upcoming review. You may then join a call with internal stakeholders to align on a project deliverable, followed by a session with an external partner to understand supply chain processes on the ground.

After lunch, you may meet with your assigned mentor to connect your projects to the broader AWS cloud computing infrastructure and global supply chain. Your afternoon may include focused work on a dedicated project, such as drafting a playbook, building a knowledge base page, or redesigning an enablement module.

Between project sprints, you will meet with teams across different functions and geographies to learn how the end-to-end supply chain operates and how AWS services support it. You will also have regular check-ins with your manager to review progress, remove blockers, and discuss your development goals. Your work will contribute to resources and processes that the team can use beyond your internship.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher, graduating between August 2027 and August 2028.
• Interest in and background in business intelligence and data analytics.
• Excellent business and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Legally able to work in Singapore.
• Available to commit to a full-time internship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building reports or visualizations using QuickSight.
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data using SQL.
• Experience using Excel as the primary presentation tool for data sets.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
• Passion for experiencing new technologies, cultures, and locations around the world.
