Fleet Planning Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a Fleet Planning Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is vital to advancing Amazon’s unique culture and enabling the success of our Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) within the high-growth, fast-paced Amazon Logistics organization.

The Fleet Scheduling Team continuously reviews the needs of new and existing DSPs, allocating a varied mix of vehicles to support growth. This position also plays a key role in expanding our Electric fleet.

The Fleet Planning Analyst will deep dive into complex data, simplifying deployment plans for various stakeholders (DSPMs, FMCs, Rental Suppliers, Variable Fleet, Demand Planning). The focus will be always working backwards from their needs, requiring strong analytical skills to prioritize mechanisms for tracking and controlling deployment planning. Scaling efficiency, specifically fleet utilization, will be the primary focus.

This position is preferably based in Luxembourg or London.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across Fleet Operations, Physical Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Variable Fleet, and DSP Management teams to model and define decisions for short/medium-term (under 10 weeks) efficient and cost-effective deployment planning.
• Owning the deep dive and risk assessment during demand fluctuations or Supply Chain operational disruptions, advising the business on backup plans such as rental procurement, Armada fast deployments, Armada reallocation, or DSP share reallocation.
• Designing and reporting on supply ramp progress pre and post-peak by aligning with internal actors like Business Analytics and Central Operations to ensure business visibility and buy-in.
• Owning or supporting "LEAN" initiatives (e.g., buffer/contingency reductions) as well as cross-country and functional processes, such as mechanisms to audit vehicle count/health, Ad-Hoc request processes, defleet incentives, and financial assessments.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or engineering.
• Experience in Excel (including macros, index, conditional lists, arrays, pivots, lookups) OR experience working with Excel alongside large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau.
• Experience demonstrating strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments while meeting deadlines, or experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL.
• Understanding of fleet management and related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
