2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Client Solutions and Wealth Management

Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through business interactions and job assignments. This internship includes engaging in projects directly affecting our business, interacting with senior leaders, and networking with employees and interns across our offices.

You will be assigned to one of the following domains: Client Solutions, Wealth Management, Distribution, Principal Owner Development, or Business Transformation.

Internship Details

Internship Dates: Thursday, May 27, 2027 - Friday, August 6, 2027.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

• A current junior, expected to graduate in May 2028, who is driven by collaboration, possesses strong listening skills, can make quick decisions, and thrives in a goal-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• A course of study in mathematics, economics, a business-related discipline (such as finance, accounting, marketing, or management), or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with, or hands-on experience using, artificial intelligence (AI) tools to research, analyze, or improve workflows.

Internship Responsibilities

During this internship, you will:

• Support projects and analyses advancing the goals of Client Solutions and Wealth Management (CSWM) areas.
• Gather, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and inform recommendations.
• Prepare clear, well-structured deliverables such as summaries, presentations, and reports for team and leadership audiences.
• Collaborate across teams and build relationships while learning how different CSWM areas work together to serve customers and grow the business.
• Build understanding of how the organization delivers financial solutions, supports distribution growth, enhances advisor capabilities, and drives transformational initiatives.
• Explore and apply AI tools to improve research, analysis, and daily work where appropriate.
• Receive coaching and guidance from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization.
• Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, operational methods, and product/service offerings.
• Build a professional network with colleagues and interns.
• Develop the ability to think broadly and question data, facts, and information.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future company sponsorship. F-1 visa holders requiring H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.
• You must be available for the entire program duration.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range

$20.00 - $35.00

The salary range reflects a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location. The final salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, and abilities. This role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
