Internship Opportunity

This is a 10-week immersive internship where you will work on real projects, learn from experienced mentors, and gain first-hand insight into life at Deloitte while building the skills and confidence to thrive in a fast-changing world.

What You Will Do

As part of the Inspires Internship Program, you will work alongside top talent on behalf of influential global companies. You will be at the center of complex business problem-solving by performing research, data analysis, and modeling, and you will contribute directly to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications.

This program will allow you to develop key capabilities and skills while gaining access to extensive training and development activities. You will have the opportunity to work with like-minded peers and be exposed to various projects within the chosen business area.

Specialization Areas

You will have the opportunity to specialize in key areas within this dynamic business unit, focusing on Strategy & Transactions and Risk, Regulatory & Forensic services:

Strategy & Transactions

• Strategy & Business Design: Define and drive strategy-led transformation across client enterprises by using deep industry insights (market size, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, technological evolution) to develop corporate and business unit strategies, launch new businesses, RTM strategy, product pricing and segmentation, and AI-led business models.
• Infrastructure & Real Estate: Advise clients on complex infrastructure and capital projects (cities, roads, facilities, power plants, railways, waterways). This involves advising on governance, financial, and commercial structures for large government and private projects, while promoting investments by highlighting societal benefits to drive economic, environmental, and social progress.
• Valuation & Modelling: Partner with clients using advanced modeling and valuation tools to unlock asset value, drive strategic decisions, and mitigate risks. This includes acquisition assessments, financial reporting, dispute resolution, and portfolio valuation.
• Mergers & Acquisition: Work with senior client executives on shareholder value, inorganic growth, and portfolio rationalization by providing financial, M&A, and debt & equity advice. Utilize deep analytics and AI to align deal strategy with corporate goals, maximize benefits, and support integrations and transformations.
• Restructuring, Turnaround & Cost Transformation: Provide advisory services to lenders, investors, owners, and management teams of underperforming and distressed businesses to protect and build value. Focus on structural changes to improve cost savings and margins, developing customized turnaround strategies for both solvent and insolvent situations.

Risk, Regulatory & Forensic

• Regulatory & Financial Risk: Provide risk transformation, data, and modeling solutions addressing complex financial issues. Advise clients on optimizing compliance programs, standardizing processes, and transforming compliance to protect value across the business while building visibility and confidence.
• Forensic & Financial Crime: Protect brands and communities by advising on exposure to fraud, corruption, money laundering, and other financial crime. Support clients in addressing business disputes, regulatory concerns, and sensitive internal investigations using next-generation forensic and eDiscovery technology and analytics.

Eligibility Requirements

• Available to start the internship in June 2027 with a minimum commitment of 10 weeks.
• Must be in your penultimate or final year of study with strong academic performance in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Candidates must indicate their top 2 offerings of interest from the listed specialization areas.
