2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Group Benefits Marketing

Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid, 10-week learning experience immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain valuable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, participate in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This internship provides realistic experiences and insight into what it is like to work at Guardian.

Internship Dates

The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027, through Friday, August 6, 2027.

Candidate Profile

You are a current junior with an expected graduation date of May 2028 who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions, and thrives in a goal-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• An interest in pursuing a career in marketing, sales, or sales enablement.
• Curiosity about how the customer journey informs and shapes marketing strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• An interest in digital marketing, including purposeful digital advertising, customer engagement tracking, and campaign performance measurement.

• Learn how modern marketing operates as a revenue center versus a service center.
• Work with marketing professionals and help develop campaigns aligned to the sales cycle.
• Gain experience with cutting-edge marketing platforms that inform strategy and drive results.
• Work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will coach you as you develop your professional career.
• Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, ways of working, and suite of product and service offerings.
• Build a network of colleagues and develop a sense of community with other interns and teams across the business.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TN visa holders, and current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H-1B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

Salary Range

$20.00–$35.00

The salary range reflected above is a good-faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
