Introduction

The Treasury Team seeks to enhance value and strengthen the organisation’s resilience by developing strategy and policy; structuring and raising debt; and optimally managing liquidity, interest rate and foreign exchange exposures for Temasek.

Through collaboration, partnership and objective advice, the team builds strong, long-term relationships with Treasury’s network of stakeholders, including the various investment groups, financial counterparties, bank lenders, bond investors, and the broader Temasek ecosystem of portfolio companies and platforms.

Responsibilities

Investment Engagement

Assist in the Investment Engagement (IE) administration process for Treasury, including:

• Assisting in advisory work
• Assisting with inputs to the Investment Committee
• Preparing business reports

FX Portfolio Management

Assist in the administration of managing Temasek’s foreign exchange exposure, including:

• Tracking FX hedge notionals and asset valuations
• Maintaining databases
• Preparing business reports

FX and Rates Trading and Solutions

• Assisting with FX and rates market analytics

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and VBA or Python programming
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Bloomberg
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills
