Introduction

The Treasury Team seeks to enhance value and strengthen the organization’s resilience by developing strategy, policy, structuring & raising debt, and managing liquidity, interest rate, and FX exposures optimally for Temasek.

Through collaboration, partnership, and objective advice, the team builds strong long-term relationships with Treasury’s network of stakeholders including the various investment groups, financial counterparties, bank lenders, bond investors, and the broader Temasek ecosystem of portfolio companies and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics support on all existing Debt Capital Market (DCM) products such as Medium Term Note (MTN), Euro Commercial Paper (ECP), Exchangeable Bonds, and Private Placements.
• Study new global DCM markets and products.
• Update DCM related documentation and support DCM transaction execution.
• Track DCM related data and develop analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor global Interest Rate (IR) markets and provide analytic support for in-house IR forecast.
• Assist with drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all DCM related processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA programming.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg.
• Open to pre-graduates with a positive attitude and keenness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator.
