Compliance Intern
The Compliance Intern will be a crucial member of our organization responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role provides exposure to a broad range of compliance activities, including client complaint handling, review of marketing and client-facing materials, periodic reviews of service providers, and other compliance projects. The intern will work closely with the Compliance team and relevant business functions to support the effective implementation of the Company’s compliance framework and day-to-day compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the review and investigation of client complaints, including gathering relevant information, preparing case summaries and timelines, maintaining complaint records, and supporting the preparation of responses and regulatory reporting where required.
- Support the Compliance team in reviewing marketing materials, campaigns, social media content, and other client-facing communications to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct periodic reviews of service providers to assess their ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and duties as assigned to ensure the effective discharge of tasks.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines without loss of accuracy.
- A proactive and reliable team player who can also work well independently.
- Ability to handle repetitive work.
- English speaking is required; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
