KYC Intern

The KYC Intern is a crucial member of the organization responsible for ensuring the company’s adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves overseeing individual and corporate account opening processes and conducting reviews of periodic cases to identify and mitigate potential risks. Effective communication with various departments is essential for maintaining a robust compliance program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting KYC reviews for individual and corporate clients, including reviewing client documentation and performing name screening in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support periodic reviews of existing individual and corporate accounts to ensure customer due diligence (CDD) information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Assist in managing and investigating name screening alerts, including assessing potential matches and escalating findings where necessary.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy.
  • Proactive and reliable team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Able to handle repetitive work.
  • English speaking; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
