Job Summary

This role supports daily depository and vault operations, including certificate handling, counter service, reconciliation, reporting, process improvement, and issue escalation.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of strategic Depository initiatives, including business analysis, requirement gathering, testing coordination, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, market participants, issuers, share registrars, vendors, and regulators to facilitate project execution and business change activities.
• Support the development and implementation of new operational processes, including fee-related processes, market reforms, and product enhancements.
• Support cross-asset class and emerging business opportunities through implementation, operational readiness, post-launch BAU support, and control framework development.
• Perform impact assessments, process reviews, and business analysis to support the introduction of new products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive modernization initiatives through process reengineering, digitization, automation, AI adoption, and operational excellence projects.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, management updates, operating procedures, and market communications as required.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), practice sessions, and operational readiness activities for new projects and system enhancements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely delivery.
• Undertake other ad hoc assignments as directed by management.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in securities operations, post-trade services, project management, business analysis, logistics and supply chain, or other highly regulated operational environments/industries.
• Experience participating in business transformation, process improvement, system implementation, or change management initiatives is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external parties.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and willing to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong interest in business transformation, automation, AI adoption, and operational modernization.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, data analytics tools, or project management methodologies is advantageous.
