Operations – Intern (Asia)

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging team.
• Collaborate with trading and financing desks, counterparties, exchanges, prime brokers, and custodians.
• Identify and implement technology and process-improvement opportunities.
• Develop skills by solving complex business problems in the industry.
• Help reduce inefficiencies across the trade lifecycle.

Qualifications and Interests

• Interest in learning about financial markets and products.
• Understanding of the full life-cycle of a trade across different asset classes, including fixed income and equity products.
• Interest in securities financing, including prime brokerage, swap, tri-party, stock loan, and repo.
• Ability and interest in data analysis and coding.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Detail-oriented and results-driven approach to solving complex problems.
• Strong analytical capability, including the ability to manipulate and review large data sets, draw conclusions, and implement solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent academic background.
