Program Details

The Equity Research Off-Cycle Internship Program offers an opportunity to experience the culture and responsibilities of a Full-time Analyst within the Equity Research Division for a short period.

• Duration and Location: Six months in London.
• Eligibility: Open to recent graduates.
• Start Date: Estimated to begin in 2027.

Interns will gain involvement in additional projects to broaden their understanding, improve desk productivity, and enhance efficiency.

Training

Participants will receive comprehensive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced professionals on various projects.

Responsibilities

Interns will be responsible for:

• Gathering and analyzing industry data to develop an industry vision and updating/building financial models for assigned companies and industries.
• Analyzing emerging trends within industries or the macroeconomy, writing investment notes, and reporting investment opinions to a sophisticated client base.
• Learning how to analyze companies within a specific sector, understand a defined industry, and tailor communication for specific audiences.
• Assessing relative stock valuations and reviewing findings with senior team members, as well as internal and external clients.
• Building relationships with global colleagues, salespeople, traders, and external investing clients.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess the following:

• An excellent academic background.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, demonstrating comfort with financial data.
• A results-driven approach, capable of performing well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Commitment to excellence in work, maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
• The ability to articulate complex ideas simply and summarize them effectively.
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
• Proven ability to function as a team player and manage a diverse range of responsibilities.
