Technology Summer Analyst Program
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. The Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program providing classroom and on-the-job training, along with valuable work experience. Summer Analysts work alongside experienced colleagues on real projects designed to deliver a real-world, project-based experience and demonstrate what it is like to be a technologist for a top financial firm.
You will receive regular mentoring and coaching, as well as regular evaluation reviews to help ensure your career is on track throughout the program and that you continue to be developed along the way. Summer Analysts who excel may receive an offer to join the Full-Time Finance Analyst Training Program.
Internship Overview
Interns participate in an induction process that provides an overview of the Firm and the Technology division. In addition to working on a live project, highlights include senior management networking events, team-building opportunities, and a technical speaker series.
Roles and Responsibilities
Application Development Teams
Development teams build applications that enable the business to perform. Covering the full software development lifecycle, day to day they typically meet with clients to gather and analyze requirements; determine, design, and develop optimal solutions for the problems clients face; then test, deploy, and enhance applications in production.
They work on a wide range of applications, from streamlining complex reporting workflows to high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in a STEM background.
- Understanding of Operating Systems.
- Foundations in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A strong passion for technology.
