Corporate Banking Intern - Corporate Banking Singapore

Internship Period: 11 January - 30 June 2027

This position sits within the Corporate Banking of Singapore team in the Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia. We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our team and work with our team of relationship managers to provide an integrated client experience across clients.

Job Description

• Assist in the relationship management and coverage of Singapore direct coverage clients with the respective local corporates, global subsidiary banking, and financial institutions teams
• Support team activities on the deal life cycle, including origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring
• Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients
• Prepare client presentations, develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching
• Prepare internal materials and assist with managing internal approval processes
• Gain professional growth by working with various experienced stakeholders within the team and co-working with different banking products (Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets – Loans and Bonds, Transaction Banking, etc.)
• Develop presentation and communication skills, with the opportunity to present projects and/or case studies to business partners and management

Job Requirements

• Keen interest in working in the finance industry, with relevant prior internship experience
• Strong skills in pitch book creation, credit, and financial statement analysis
• Action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Collaborative approach with eagerness to learn
• Strong ethical behavior and alignment with MUFG’s core values
