GIC publishes seven distinct student and early-career programmes on its careers site:

• GIC Internship Programme: a 12-week summer internship for penultimate-year university students across Investment, Technology, and Corporate Services, with successful interns invited to return for the Professionals Programme
• GIC Professionals Programme: the full-time graduate scheme for final-year students with under a year of work experience, rotational across the three tracks
• LEAP – GIC Early Careers Programme: a pivot route for professionals with three to six years of full-time experience outside investing or asset management
• GIC Scholarship Programme: a pre-tertiary scholarship covering full tuition plus a monthly allowance, bonded three years (Singapore universities), four years (Asian universities), or five years (Americas, UK, Europe)
• GIC Enable Programme: a paid internship designed for individuals with disabilities
• GIC INSPIRES: a women's mentorship programme
• GIC-MENDAKI Scholarship: a scholarship for Singaporean Malay/Muslim students at NUS, NTU, or SMU

A candidate eligible for both the Internship and Professionals Programmes typically sequences them – penultimate-year internship, then graduate conversion – so the two are usefully treated as one two-step path rather than parallel applications.

• A 20-year real-return mandate: GIC was established in 1981 to manage Singapore's foreign reserves with an explicit benchmark of long-term real returns above global inflation, not an annual league table
