Multiple positions available.

• Understand AWS services, their economics, and how they impact customer profitability.
• Provide the sales team with financial acumen and insights to positively influence private pricing deals.
• Drive financial controllership over private pricing deals by enforcing Amazon’s Spending & Transaction Policy.
• Evaluate and refine financial models used to calculate customer profitability; effectively communicate ideas to diverse audiences.
• Own and oversee a specific process from a deals desk finance perspective.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and implementation to drive process improvement; demonstrate passion and skills in developing relationships, processes, and continuous improvement.
• Work with minimal direction in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Schedule and Compensation: 40 hours/week, 8:00am–5:00pm. Salary range: $117,686–$128,800.

Basic Qualifications

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience, the employer will accept 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience must include at least 1 year in each of the following:

• Financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis.
• Creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
• Writing and running SQL queries to extract data from internal tools.
• Performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel and providing recommendations based on results to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Strong judgment to understand different perspectives, manage conflicts, and drive progress and alignment while fostering open dialogue and the ability to work and communicate across all levels of the organization.

The base pay range for this position in New York City is USD $117,686–$128,800 (yr). Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
