Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, the team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

From day one, you will be part of a team that protects client investments and delivers post-trade solutions. You will not be shadowing—you will be doing.

What You’ll Learn

You will join a dedicated product team, with learning extending across product development, client service, business management, and risk.

You will develop sought-after skills in:

• Communication and teamwork in a global banking environment

You will also connect with other interns and colleagues across HSBC to build a broad network and deepen your understanding of how we work. Your first week focuses on structured training covering both technical knowledge and professional skills so you are ready to get started.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2027
• Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or an overseas equivalent as shown on your official university transcript/degree certificate)
• Be fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese would be an advantage
• We will consider candidates that require visa sponsorship for this role
