Internship Overview

Asia Investment Banking Division – Portfolio Management Department

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Job Description

• Learn about the different lending products monitored by the team, such as non-recourse Project Finance (including power, renewables, oil & gas, and infrastructure) and Real Estate Finance.
• Support the team in managing a portfolio of loan assets domiciled across the Asia & Oceania region, including review of borrower ratings, covenant checks, and preparation of credit applications and collaterals to identify and propose solutions to mitigate any credit risks to the Bank.
• Support loan portfolio management by performing critical analysis of industry and economic trends and factors impacting various projects the Bank finances.
• Support the delivery of process improvement initiatives and data management.
• Support daily operations, including preparing various reports to Management and other departments.

Job Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access) or any database system.
• Keen eye for detail, proactive, people-oriented, and result-oriented.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Willing and able to multi-task and deliver work under demanding timelines.
• Finance studies background would be an advantage.
