Corporate Banking Summer Analyst (London)

Citi is seeking summer analysts to join the Corporate Banking team in London. Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing clients around the world. As a Corporate Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions.

Unique to Citi, Corporate Bankers are also responsible for deciding where to invest the firm’s capital and executing on those investments. Corporate Bankers work in partnership with various Citi groups across the firm, including Risk Management, Investment Banking, and the Capital Markets.

Program Overview

The 10-week summer analyst program starts in June. It begins with one week of training in London, after which you will be placed with a Corporate Banking team for the duration of the program. Successful summer analysts will be considered for a full-time position after graduation.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis
• Liaise with product partners
• Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients
• Structure deals

We Want to Hear From You If

• You are in your penultimate or final year of university
• You are expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline
• You have an interest in business
• You are fluent in a second language (desirable but not essential)

Location and Working Model

The role is based at 33 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5LB, United Kingdom.

This role currently offers a hybrid working model, with a mandatory three days in your assigned office and an optional two days from home, subject to business approval.
