Description

Are you a self-starter who can adapt and follow internal guidelines and processes, and work effectively under tight deadlines with teams spread around the globe?

Apple’s IS&T Accessibility Center of Excellence supports and promotes accessibility across Apple and provides consultancy services to project teams. The team is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to support accessibility engagement across Apple.

Responsibilities include:

• Audit new and existing internal and external solutions for accessibility
• Collaborate with teams throughout the full project lifecycle for new features and solutions
• Liaise and coordinate with various functions
• Represent the team positively and effectively at all times
• Promote strong, practical accessibility outcomes while maintaining positive working relationships

Previous industry experience with an emphasis on accessibility would be an advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong interest in digital accessibility with experience and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Aptitude for independently learning new technologies
• Ability to work on multiple projects and manage a dynamic working environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the potential to build strong working relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities
• Experience with digital accessibility
• Related software engineering internship
