UBS is looking for ambitious students to join the 2027 Summer Internship Program within the Global Research & Evidence Lab business.

What You’ll Do

• Learn how research analysts and investors can incorporate alternative data products into their investment process.
• Work with a global team of researchers, data engineers, and business analysts to build innovative data solutions that address investment debates.
• Transform large structured and unstructured data sets into actionable insights.

Your Team

You will work in the UBS Evidence Lab team in New York. Turning data into evidence, the UBS Evidence Lab is a sell-side team of experts that works across specialized areas to create insight-ready datasets by using tools and techniques to harvest, cleanse, and connect billions of data items each month. The library of assets—covering thousands of companies across all sectors and regions—is designed to help answer questions that matter to investment decisions.

Your Expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Is graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Is intellectually curious with strong analytical, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills.
• Has a fundamental understanding of financial statement analysis.
• Has advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL and/or R and/or Python (preferred).
• Values align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative.
• Is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
• Can demonstrate how the experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
