Curious about how a global bank really works? In Group Internal Audit, you’ll investigate complex challenges, uncover emerging risks, and gain exposure to every corner of UBS. If you love asking questions, connecting dots, and solving problems, this is where curiosity becomes impact.

We’re looking for critical thinkers who enjoy investigating issues to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program in Group Internal Audit.

What You’ll Do

• Discover how different parts of UBS operate and identify the risks shaping a global financial institution.
• Investigate how decisions, products, and processes work in practice, uncovering insights others might miss.
• Use data, technology, and critical thinking to assess risks and evaluate whether controls are effective.
• Challenge assumptions to help prevent errors, protect clients, and support the firm’s strategic goals.
• Learn from experienced colleagues and gain a unique view while helping UBS stay resilient, safe, and prepared for what’s next.

Your Team

You’ll be part of Group Internal Audit, the only function with a complete view across UBS. Reporting independently to the Board, we bring together specialists in business, risk, data analytics, and AI to identify emerging risks, generate insight, and drive change across the firm.

Your Expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Is in the penultimate or final year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Is on track for at least a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree.
• Has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative.
• Can explain ideas clearly, whether summarising findings, asking good questions, or sharing thoughts in a way others understand.
• Adapts easily to changing priorities and remains organised when assigned multiple tasks.
• Acts with integrity, enjoys working with others, and demonstrates curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
• Can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and what you can bring to our team.
