Trade Support Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Analyst
If trade support and special purpose vehicles are your strengths, this role is for you. You will support bespoke deals issued through a repackaging platform, partnering with internal teams and external service providers to keep day-to-day activity running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with front-to-back, cross-asset class Middle Office support for Trading, Structuring, Sales, Finance, and Legal.
- Coordinate straightforward SPV new issuance activity, providing operational support from trade date until issue date.
- Assist with straightforward cost calculations for new SPV activity.
- Perform daily controls, including reconciliation of cash balances and lifecycle checks.
- Monitor event activity and support coupon fixing, payments, and corporate actions processing.
- Assist with KPIs and exceptions to ensure timely resolution and escalation.
- Ensure smooth settlement of straightforward SPV repackaging trades, providing multi-team coordination.
- Serve as a primary contact for external service providers to ensure settlement instructions are in place and stakeholders are informed.
- Maintain accurate records for all repeatable issuances and lifecycle activity.
- Help with day-to-day query management associated with core daily tasks.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Knowledge of operational trade support.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Proactive problem solving, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a great team player in a pressurized and changing environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Technical skills, especially in Excel and Python.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- VBA experience.
- Prior experience with Special Purpose Vehicles.
