Who You Are
We’re looking for analytical, driven problem-solvers who thrive in a collaborative environment and want to learn how investment strategies work from the inside.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy analysing numbers, data, and complex information to uncover the bigger picture.
- Thrive in a team setting, learning from senior professionals.
- Pick up new concepts, information, and processes quickly, and look for ways to apply them in real projects.
- Stay motivated and keep personal and team goals in mind, even under pressure.
- Keep a calm, positive outlook, even when things don’t go as planned.
What You’ll Do
During this internship, you’ll dive straight into the day-to-day world of Alternatives investing.
You will:
- Support live projects and initiatives, including benchmarking and fundraising, with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and fund managers, gaining first-hand insight into hedge fund strategies, investment styles, asset classes, and financial products.
- Research and interpret investment opportunities, market trends, and industry insights.
- Manage your workload and deadlines while contributing to team priorities.
- Build creative problem-solving skills by tackling challenges in real time.
- Learn and apply quantitative and cash flow modelling techniques.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll start with one week of structured training covering both technical and behavioural skills—giving you the tools to succeed from day one. From there, you’ll keep building your expertise through hands-on project work, continuous feedback, and collaboration with your team. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an interest in finance will set you apart.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must:
- Be available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2027.
- Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent, as shown on your official university transcript/degree certificate).
- Be fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese would be an advantage.
- Be expected to graduate between November 2027 and July 2028.
- We will consider candidates that require visa sponsorship for this role.
