Operations Supervisor

Our Worldwide Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure employee productivity is maximized and customer engagement is achieved, while supporting customer expectations so orders are delivered on time to the right location.

Our operations workflow includes three major components:

• First mile — the product is housed and ready for order
• Middle mile — the order is transported to your area
• Last mile — the product is delivered to the customer’s door

Although workflows may vary slightly by building, our dedication to the customer remains constant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate others
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds; stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours; frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, and overtime as required
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others
• 1+ year working in a similar environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/retail)
• Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train, and assist team members

Work Schedule and Location

• USA, NY, Niagara Falls
• Work 40 hours/week and overtime as required

Pay and Benefits

• Starting Pay: $23.50–$23.50 USD hourly

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
