Programme Overview

BlackRock’s paid six-month programme offers service leavers and professional athletes the opportunity to develop professional skills, enhance their understanding of asset management and the financial services industry, and prepare for future careers.

Available Divisions & Roles

BlackRock offers diverse roles and opportunities across the following divisions:

• Aladdin Client Business: A global investment technology and transformation organization that partners with major financial institutions to implement, operate, and optimize the Aladdin platform. It combines financial markets expertise, technology innovation, and strategic consulting to help clients transform how they invest, manage risk, operate, and grow.
• Client Services & Solutions (CSS): A client-facing organization within Technology & Operations, formed by bringing together Client Experience and Operations capabilities under a unified model. Its objective is to create a more seamless client experience, improve collaboration across teams, and align operational execution with BlackRock’s commercial outcomes.

Eligibility

• Military Applicants: Service leavers must have served in the UK regular armed forces with a minimum of 3 years’ service, and must have left regular service within the last 12 months.
• Professional Athletes: Elite athletes who have represented a professional team for their sport, or who have represented their country at Senior international level.

Applicants must be legally able to work in the location applied for.

Our Hybrid Work Model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable collaboration and apprenticeship while supporting flexibility. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to role and responsibilities. The company focuses on increasing meaningful moments that arise from working together in person to align with its commitment to performance and innovation.
