How You Will Create an Impact

Functional Responsibilities

• Assess and process payment for on GL value based claims.
• Perform administrative work, including processing, coordinating, and managing incoming and outgoing claim documents.
• Assist with entering and updating key data and information in claims systems, computing claims, processing payments, and supporting recovery claims (including digestion).
• Assist with KIV files.
• Assist in running reports/claim statistics for stakeholders.
• Carry out ad hoc administrative duties.
• Demonstrate a high level of competency in systems use and e-filing documentation into electronic folders.
• Support continuous improvement in claim file handling through feedback and assistance.
• Maintain adherence to best-practice claims protocols aligned with global best practices.

Accountabilities

• Enter data accurately and process assigned claims and/or administrative work in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively within the team.
• Follow AIG internal claims SOP and global best practices.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Minimum diploma qualification in any field, and basic insurance certifications (e.g., BCP and Comm GI).
• Preferably some administrative experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Time management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize workload and diary schedules.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Preferably basic knowledge of legal/regulatory matters and litigation/procedural requirements for the line of business.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

AIG values in-person collaboration, so team members are primarily expected to work in the office.
