About the Programme

The Deutsche Bank Internship Programme is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. You’ll quickly gain the confidence to take on real projects by learning first-hand how and what we deliver for clients worldwide. You’ll feel supported by colleagues from across the business and start to develop your professional network.

About the Division

The Corporate Bank is a market leader in cash management, lending, trade finance, trust and agency services, securities services and risk management for FX and Rates. We have deep client relationships and our client solutions relate directly to the real economy.

Products

• Cash Management: Delivers a wide range of innovative payment and cash management related products to corporates and non-bank financial institutions.
• Trade Finance & Lending: Covers the full range of corporate lending solutions and provides solutions related to imports, exports or domestic trade transactions.
• Trust & Agency Services: Delivers a wide range of Agency and Fiduciary services to Capital Markets instruments and provides a full range of Depositary Bank services to global equity issuers, investors and brokers.
• Securities Services: Provides custody, clearing and settlement services in 30+ markets across the globe.

Within each area, you may be exposed to roles such as Sales and Product Management in our Cash, RTM and Coverage teams.

About the Role

Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints, giving you a career advantage. You will receive formal training and be placed on one of the Corporate Bank teams, working in our day-to-day business as well as on special projects. You will build relationships and learn from Corporate Bank professionals across the organization and the globe, seeing the truly global nature of this business and its clients.

You will contribute to the innovation of new ideas to help clients and colleagues achieve their goals. You will gain experience across various products and functions and discover our market-leading solutions firsthand. You will also learn about the innovative technological solutions we are developing.

What We Look For

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. You should have proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, and apply critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs. Degrees can be in many different disciplines.

Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will provide the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.

Eligibility (2027 Summer Internship Programme)

To be eligible for the 2027 Summer Internship Programme, you must:

• Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework, and no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1 December 2027 and 31 July 2028.
• Have no more than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience.
