About the Programme

The Deutsche Bank Internship Programme is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. You’ll quickly gain the confidence to take on real projects by learning first-hand how and what we deliver for clients worldwide. You’ll feel supported by colleagues from across our business and start to develop your professional network.

About the Division

As Private Bank, we combine Deutsche Bank’s activities in Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Personal Banking into one division. We serve >20m clients globally with >500 bn EUR assets under management and close to 9bn EUR revenues in 2022. Within Wealth Management, we support wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, and foundations in Germany, Europe, Americas, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa with bespoke investments and lending solutions. We collaborate closely with the Corporate & Investment Bank and DWS to address both the personal and corporate needs of our clients and create sustainable partnerships and lasting value over time.

About the Role

Throughout the course, you will gain a wide range of practical experience. You will also benefit from training courses, seminars, and a variety of networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join our enhanced PB Graduate Programme. The programme structure provides enhanced client focus, greater clarity on career pathing, and structured learning. The specific tasks you deal with will depend on your role within the team.

You will be trained by experienced professionals, evolve professionally and personally, and build a firm foundation for your career progression.

What We Look For

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. You should have proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs. You should have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will provide you with the technical knowledge you need to build a career with us.

Eligibility for the 2027 Summer Internship Programme

You must meet the following requirements:

• Complete your studies (all final exams and coursework, with no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1 December 2027 and 31 July 2028.
• Have no more than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience.
