Investment Banking Analyst — Mergers & Acquisitions

Our New York City office is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. The successful candidate will work with regional and international clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts, and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts. The role also includes strategic advisory assignments and execution of public and private capital markets transactions.

The Analyst will work closely with professionals across the firm to deliver high-quality advice to clients and will play an important role on a team of senior professionals who encourage creative thinking beyond the numbers.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of experience in investment banking or capital markets is required
• Extraordinarily high level of motivation, focus on work quality, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and decision-making abilities
• Experience in the M&A industry is preferred, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude
• Analytical, quantitative, adaptive, driven, self-starter mentality, leadership mindset, team player, ability to multitask, and results-oriented
• Interest in developing a career in investment banking
• Top education credentials; Bachelor’s degree is required
• Series licensing or must obtain
