Fund Execution Officer

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Receive and execute all Mutual/Hedge Fund orders for SG and HK booking centres in a timely manner.
• Follow up on all pending orders with counterparties until NAV is confirmed and received.
• Inform RM/MA once NAV is confirmed.
• Transmit confirmed orders to the Settlement team for booking of transactions.
• Monitor for abnormal fund subscription/redemption, such as orders with unusually large valuations.
• Handle queries from RM/MA regarding mutual fund operational aspects, including the settlement cycle, next NAV date, number of decimal places, minimum subscription size, and any penalty charges on early redemption.
• Reconcile outstanding orders with counterparties.
• Understand and apply the operational aspects of new fund launches.
• Liaise with the custodian/Fund House for new fund setup.
• Maintain and update the list of distribution agreements.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Follow up with the fund house for trailer fee reports.
• Inform management of any error trades.
• Ensure procedures and control measures are strictly adhered to.
• Participate in UAT and ad hoc projects.
• Continuously enhance, streamline, and improve workflow and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
