Analyst, APAC Markets Middle Office Analyst (Hong Kong)

About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office individual to join a team responsible for operational support to the APAC trading desks.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide operational support for APAC Interest Rates, Credit, MBS, FX, and Repo desks
• Review and monitor new and amended trades, and process trade-related life cycle events
• Participate in profit and loss generation and pricing curve maintenance
• Perform daily reconciliations, including break investigation and resolution
• Recommend ways to streamline and enhance daily processes and documentation
• Support new product enablement and migration projects
• Collaborate with partners globally (e.g., Regulatory Reporting, IT, COO, Market Risk, and Project Management) on an ad-hoc basis

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Quantitative, or relevant subjects; minimum 2 years of relevant operations experience is an advantage
• Relevant experience in FX, Credit, and/or Rates-related products and P&L calculation is an advantage
• Experience with MarkitWire and Calypso is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Macro and VBA is preferred
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
