Workday Financials Analyst

Role Overview

In the role of Associate, Financial Information Systems, the employee will be responsible for the following:

• Support the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Financial Information Systems, including Workday Financials and related applications.
• Assist with the configuration and support of Workday Business Processes and custom validations.
• Provide functional support across Workday Core Financials, Suppliers, Banking, Business Assets, Procurement, and Expenses.
• Troubleshoot system and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and help implement practical solutions.
• Support new releases, enhancements, and testing activities, including validation of configuration changes for supported applications.
• Maintain process documentation and help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and strong operational controls.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve processes, enhance the end-user experience, and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Support day-to-day user requests and contribute to a well-governed Financial Information Systems environment.
• Demonstrate familiarity with security governance and its impact on financial processes and access.

Education, Training & Experience

• 4-year degree.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience supporting or administering Workday Financials.
• Experience with Workday Business Process configuration and custom validations.
• Familiarity with Workday security governance.
• Workday certification(s) preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office is required.
• Hedge fund, asset management, or other financial services experience preferred.

Compensation

For NY, CA, and IL based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between USD 70,000 and USD 80,000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including relevant experience, business needs, and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
