Micron is seeking a driven candidate for a night shift technician role in Yield Enhancement (YE) lab under Technology Development (TD) at Micron’s Singapore site. You will focus on the operation and minor maintenance of Focused Ion Beam (FIB) for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis. This work supports both the pilot line and the manufacturing line.

Successful candidates will be placed at the corresponding technician level based on previous experience and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide FIB/TEM support for various technology nodes of NAND development.
• Interact with process/integration engineers regarding requests, priorities, and/or general communications.
• Communicate with Micron team members and supplier representatives at all levels regarding tool issues, requests, and support items.
• Feed products into the equipment, troubleshoot issues, and optimize tool performance.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools to optimize existing lab procedures and maintain the lab environment within safety requirements.
• Follow responsible AI, data-security, and quality-control expectations when handling technical information, images, tool logs, and internal communications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
• Comfortable working a permanent night shift.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-hours.
• Effective communication with day-shift teams through detailed pass-downs.
• Support occasional overtime and emergency response when required.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide resolutions.
• PC skills, including M.S. Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote).
• Experience with SEM or FIB platforms is a plus.
