Across every region published on AMD's Regional Student Programs page (Americas, Europe, APJ, India), the student-program eligibility lists carry the same two requirements: applicants must be legally eligible or have work authorization to work as an intern in the country of the internship, and must study in the country of the internship/placement. In Singapore the firm additionally requires a school support or placement letter covering the full internship period.

The page makes no offer to obtain visa status for an intern; the right to work in the geography sits with the candidate.
