Sales and Trading

About the Position

As a Sales and Trading intern, you will work alongside experienced Sales professionals and Sales-Traders to learn how we engage and cover institutional clients’ trading needs across the asset classes we support. You will gain insight into the types of client inquiries we handle daily and learn how we service clients, issuers, and prospective clients. This fast-paced, immersive internship also includes internal classes on a variety of topics to build broader fundamentals of finance and trading.

What You’ll Bring

We don’t expect you to have a background in a specific field. We are looking for smart, driven people who enjoy working with clients to solve interesting problems. We are more interested in how you think and learn than what you currently know. You should be:

• Studying toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, in your incoming or final year
• Proactive, reliable, and courteous, with strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
• A self-motivated, entrepreneurial problem-solver who is excited about building relationships with clients and partners
• Highly analytical and logical, comfortable working with numbers
• Extremely organized, with excellent attention to detail
• Interested in learning SQL and/or Python
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, or German is a plus
