What the Role Entails

About the Infra and Network Tech team

The team is part of the Tencent Overseas IT department and is responsible for building and maintaining systems for internal IT and game publishing lines.

About the role

As an intern in the SRE team, you will closely collaborate with teams across departments to build and deploy powerful systems and products that can perform previously impossible tasks and achieve unprecedented levels of performance.

In this role, you will design and develop the tools and dashboards required for a variety of cutting-edge technologies and consumer projects and build flexible infrastructure and intuitive UI experiences.

Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in researching existing software and machine learning/deep learning models, proposing improvements and industrializing the product.

Lastly, you will experience corporate IT operations and maintenance of corporate systems and cloud-based infrastructure necessary to enable a highly connected and collaborative workforce.

Who We Look For

Requirements:

• Study computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Skilled in at least one programming language (such as Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
• Knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, and modelling (e.g., PyTorch, HuggingFace libs).
• Knowledge of basic networking, Linux, cloud providers, and container operations (e.g., Ubuntu, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for challenging issues.
• Good teamwork spirit and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of open-source LLM fine-tuning and AI infrastructure techniques.
• Interest in networks, GPU and server hardware.
