Personal Wealth Manager

Overview

HSBC is seeking a high-caliber professional to join International Wealth and Premier Banking as a Personal Wealth Manager. We serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million international customers, providing wealth management and everyday banking services through mobile-first capabilities and exceptional people. Our key operations include Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management, Global Private Banking, Insurance, and Chief Operating Office.

In this role you will

• Adopt a needs-based approach to advise and provide recommendations aligned with personal banking customers’ financial objectives and other banking needs
• Develop and implement wealth preservation and wealth accumulation plans using investment and insurance solutions
• Build and entrench customer relationships; manage customer queries, issues, feedback and complaints with appropriate advice in line with SLA expectations of Branch Service Protocol, Customer Complaints and other process SLAs as applicable
• Share HSBC Customer Propositions, encourage customers to deepen relationships and cross-sell other HSBC retail products
• Reach out to our client base with customer contacts provided by the bank
• Ensure all sales and operational transactions are executed expeditiously and with minimum errors, while staying within compliance with audit and statutory guidelines
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, safeguarding the bank, clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma/Degree qualification with relevant customer service experience
• New graduate and/or proven sales experience is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with adaptability and willingness to learn
• Highly driven to excel in both customer service and sales, thriving in a focused and fast-paced environment
