• Penultimate-year Undergraduate or Master’s student
• Majoring in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Comfortable with change and able to adjust to changing demands and requirements
• Strong team player and client-focused
• Demonstrates energy and drive
• Keen interest and passion in Finance and Technology
• Nice to have a background or knowledge in programming/scripting (e.g., Python, XML, JavaScript, Windows PowerShell), basic operating system commands (Windows/Linux), databases (e.g., SQL), and analyzing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS)
• Cloud/DevOps skills are a plus

What you’ll do

Work within and across Global Technology to manage the bank’s core infrastructure in one of the following teams:

• Hosting, Application & Database Services: Infrastructure capacity planning, Windows/Unix/Cloud operations, storage and database management
• Network Services: Internal/External Network Management, Network Service Assurance
• Business Operations: Business Management, Financial Management
• Datacenter Services and Portfolio Management: Datacenter Projects and Operations, Infrastructure Project Management
• Mainframe Services: Mainframe Engineering and Operations

You will deploy and support core infrastructure that underpins daily bank operations—from networks and hosting to cloud platforms and mainframe. You will collaborate with platform teams and Business Technology Groups to help build automated processes.

Program Overview

The Technology Summer Analyst Program offers non-software development roles in Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI). CTI provides core services such as network, cloud and compute capacity, enterprise storage and databases used to host trading applications, payment systems, mobile applications, and other end-user applications. The program is 10 weeks long and designed to provide a unique experience based on your interests and business needs. Analysts support teams working with the latest technology and emerging trends. The summer program includes orientation, on-the-job support, access to senior leaders, networking and development events, and a formal performance review process.

Potential Role Opportunities in Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI)

• Infrastructure Engineer: Supports the design, build, and day-to-day operations for the bank’s physical and virtual infrastructure components (servers, storage, databases, networks, data centers). Acts as a domain SME and engages in new projects, lights-on upgrades, BAU, and incident/problem management.
• Cloud Solutions Engineer: Delivers secure, reliable cloud solutions. Responsible for operations, development, and architecture of cloud infrastructure, ensuring incident response and threat intelligence processes are optimized for cloud environments.
• Service Delivery (Project Management): Coordinates infrastructure work across teams, prioritizes efforts, remediates/escalates issues, and ensures proper funding levels. Drives awareness, planning, and implementation of objectives while adhering to risk governance.
• Network Engineer: Troubleshoots complex network security and routing issues in a multi-vendor environment. Performs network analytics, configures/troubleshoots Cisco switches, manages routing protocols, and handles monitoring and load-balancing with firewall technology.
• Mainframe Engineer: Builds and supports mission-critical mainframe systems 24/7. Collaborates with engineers to design, build, and improve core mainframe services, contributing to automation and modernization, monitoring, reliability, and recovery.
