Position Overview
Job Title: Associate — Location: New York, NY
Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, NY to provide quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions within the insurance sector, including reporting on key financial metrics and developing deal execution materials.
Responsibilities
- Provide quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions in the insurance sector.
- Report on key financial metrics and develop deal execution materials.
- Draft documents for live transactions, including S-1 and S-3 filings, engagement letters, process letters, bid letters, non-binding and binding offers, term sheets, and share purchase agreements.
- Conduct valuation analyses using M&A merger models, discounted cash flow valuations, and leveraged buyout valuations for client pitches.
- Utilize FactSet, S&P Capital IQ Pro, Eikon, Insurance Insider, Dowling & Partners Research, and Envestnet to gather company and market statistics and industry data for live deals and client pitches.
- Assist with cross-border M&A deals and executing corporate financing deals in leveraged finance and debt capital markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience executing sidecars and capital raises involving private placements for both debt and equity; working on M&A cross-border deals and executing corporate financing deals in leveraged finance and debt capital markets.
Compensation
Salary range: $225,000.00 - $235,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
