Role & Department

Based in New York, Crédit Agricole CIB’s Corporate and Leveraged Finance Group (CLF) includes four origination units: Corporate Origination, Leveraged, Acquisition and Telecom Finance Group (LATFG), LatAm, and Fund Solutions Group (FSG). CLF provides a full array of financing solutions for corporate clients and financial sponsors, including investment grade and leveraged debt financings, bridge financings, high yield bonds, and syndicated loans. This internship offers exposure across various groups/platforms and the opportunity to observe deal execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials including pitch books, information memoranda, and institutional investor / lender presentations.
  • Prepare financial analyses on companies, including ratio analysis, comparables, and financial models with projections.
  • Prepare transaction memoranda, credit analyses, and corporate credit rating analyses.
  • Craft concise written analyses of market trends and commentary.
  • Maintain databases and market comparables.
  • Review legal documentation and prepare Closing Memos.
  • Collaborate with team members, credit, legal, relationship managers, operations, and senior management to gather and analyze information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly market updates.
  • Support day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the Corporate Origination and LATFG teams and CLF management, focusing on loan and bond origination.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Penultimate-year student (junior) pursuing a finance-related degree; expected graduation December 2026 – June 2027.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus.
  • Understanding of banking and capital markets preferred; some accounting/finance/economics coursework.
  • Applicants do not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (F1, OPT, CPT, etc.).
  • Languages: English.
