About the Role

Our technology teams deliver and manage engineering solutions to support the bank’s global customers. They develop and deliver solutions that help modernize technology, reduce complexity and risk, and drive business growth.

Depending on your rotation, you will gain expertise in:

  • Hands-on coding in languages that could include Java, Python, and others
  • Usage of cloud and AI technologies to solve complex financial problems
  • Practical experience in technology solution development within an Agile team structure

Through job placements, training courses, seminars, and networking events, you will gain practical experience and interpersonal skills with a bank that is driving change in the financial and digital world.

What We Look For

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. To be considered, you must possess or be on track to graduate with a Bachelor’s/Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Eligibility for the 2027 Internship Programme

  • Complete your studies (all final exams and coursework, with no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1 December 2027 and 31 July 2028.
  • Be able to work full-time during the 10-week summer internship (June–August 2027), subject to local working legislation.
  • Possess no more than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

At this time, Deutsche Bank will only consider applicants who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Deutsche Bank, now or in the future, to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
