Overview
This Associate role provides support to the product team to help achieve team goals. The incumbent is subject to KPI evaluation.
Responsibilities
Marketing and Sales
- Prepare marketing materials
- Generate thematic written business research
- Interpret high-frequency economic data in the U.S. and China
- Assist in identifying hedging opportunities in FX derivatives and other products
- Follow up on all business needs with RMs to better support client needs
- Provide support to the team in daily routine work
- Act as back-up for the designated team
Product Management
- Participate in the enhancement of product offerings to promote business growth
- Assist in new product development to satisfy clients' hedging demand
Risk Management and Compliance
- Adhere to and facilitate legal documents and onboarding processes related to traded products
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding anti-money laundering, BSA, OFAC, Dodd-Frank framework, Volcker rule, etc.
- Collaborate with Middle Office and Back Office to ensure risk control and facilitate accurate deal booking and timely settlement
Research
- Perform analysis and participate in assigned research projects
- Monitor, update and facilitate research information for client/internal presentations
- Participate in special projects and/or other duties as assigned
- Conduct assigned reports or research analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 1-3 years of Financial Markets experience for Associate level; minimum 4 years for AVP level
- Knowledge of FX, RMB, interest rate and other hedging products
- Bilingual ability in Mandarin is preferred, but not required
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
USD $42,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
