Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation. We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Universal Banker - Hong Kong Business 銀行業務主任 - 財富管理及個人銀行業務.

Principal Responsibilities

• Work with our customers to provide answers and proactive solutions to inquiries, and to recommend suitable financial products and banking services to meet their needs.
• Deliver industry-leading professional customer service.
• Proactively identify potential customers’ banking needs and refer customers to appropriate branch staff to provide banking solutions.
• Assist line manager to provide an efficient, customer-focused sales and service environment in branch.
• Multiple work locations available across branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and New Territories.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate with a pass in 5 subjects for HKCEE or HKDSE, including Math and Chinese or English, or equivalent or above.
• Banking or financial service industry experience preferred.
• Insurance licensed is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly driven and a desire to succeed in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and ideally Putonghua.
• Recent graduates with part-time banking / customer service experience are also welcome.
• Holder of relevant insurance and investment licenses and compliance with related Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
