The team you’ll join
The Hong Kong business is comprised of various teams:
- Sales Team: Responsible for new business development and client retention across Fidelity's Hong Kong client base, including institutional clients, banks, insurance companies, and other distribution partners.
- Marketing and Corporate Communications Team: Responsible for promoting Fidelity's brand and delivering a wide range of commercial, marketing, and corporate communication initiatives.
- Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Team: Plays a key role in supporting Fidelity's Distribution business across the region. This team helps drive strategic initiatives, business planning, governance, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to enable efficient execution of priorities and better client outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
Depending on the team you join, your responsibilities may include the following:
Sales & CAO
During this 6-month program, you will work on meaningful business projects, gaining exposure to various teams within Sales and CAO, allowing you to develop a broad understanding of Fidelity's business, the asset management industry, and the diverse client segments served.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Supporting HK retail distribution strategy for investment products, aligned with global objectives and regional growth priorities.
- Supporting sales efforts with platform & intermediary partnerships.
- Partnering with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams on fund launches, campaigns, and positioning.
- Analyzing distribution and investor data to identify growth opportunities and improve channel effectiveness.
- Supporting strategic business initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Assisting with business planning, governance, and operational improvement activities.
You will gain exposure to client relationship management, business development, sales strategy, and the day-to-day operations of a leading global asset manager.
Marketing
During this 6-month program, you will gain hands-on experience within Fidelity's Hong Kong Marketing team, supporting initiatives across our Wholesale, Private Bank, and Institutional businesses. This offers a broad understanding of the asset management industry, how marketing supports client engagement, and business growth.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns targeting wholesale, private banking, and institutional clients.
- Assisting with the organization and delivery of client events, investment seminars, conferences, thought leadership forums, and sponsorship activities.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (including sales teams, investment professionals, agencies, venues, and vendors) to ensure successful campaign and event delivery.
- Assisting with campaign performance reporting, event evaluations, and marketing analytics to measure business impact and client engagement.
- Supporting marketing operations, budget tracking, database management, and other activities required for efficient marketing programme execution.
- Contributing ideas and creative solutions to enhance the client experience and elevate Fidelity's brand presence in Hong Kong.
This internship is designed to give you meaningful exposure to investment management and financial services marketing. You will have the opportunity to:

- Gain insight into how a global asset manager engages with institutional investors, private banks, intermediaries, and distribution partners.

Throughout the program, you will collaborate across different teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Successful interns may be considered for a Graduate Programme offer and have the opportunity to join Fidelity as a full-time employee upon graduation.

What we’re looking for

As an international organization, strong communication skills in both English and Chinese are required. Candidates should be comfortable communicating in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
You will also need to:
- Be graduating in 2028 (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
- Have a strong interest in the asset management industry.
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be highly motivated with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Have strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
