Financial Reporting Accountant

About the Position

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. You will primarily maintain the books and records for the firm’s European businesses and prepare our monthly and annual financial statements in conjunction with accounting teams regionally and globally.

Additional responsibilities of this role include:

• Preparing or reviewing various accounting reconciliations and financial schedules that support the financial statements.
• Collaborating with outside auditors and advisors, interpreting GAAP, and documenting accounting policies and internal controls.
• Working closely with other team members, including our accounting-specific Technology team, to improve and automate processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Possess an ACA or equivalent qualification with 1-2 years of post-qualified experience in an accounting role.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of FRS 102 and/or IFRS; knowledge of U.S. GAAP is desired but not required.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills; able to build strong, collaborative relationships across various groups within the firm.
• Self-motivated to improve processes where possible.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of handling competing priorities and working effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; detail-oriented with a proactive "can-do" attitude when resolving issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with regulatory regimes is preferred.
• Experience using Workday (Financial Data Model) is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
