2028 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program

Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Summer Analyst Program to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to join an experienced, full-service investment bank focused on growth and innovative companies in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Participants will assist full-time banking professionals with their day-to-day responsibilities, including supporting a variety of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and public equity transactions.

Program Experience

• Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to support the business.
• Receive training and guidance to help you succeed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing client presentations and other transaction-related materials.
• Prepare valuation and financial modeling analyses.
• Review business plans, conduct research, and analyze financial statements.
• Gain direct exposure to live deals and major transactions.
• Perform due diligence processes.
• Interact with the senior banking team.

Experience and Qualifications

• Exemplary academic record and expected completion of an undergraduate degree in May 2029.
• Experience or concentration in finance, accounting, and/or life sciences preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial accounting, financial modeling, and market research.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
• Intellectual curiosity, motivation, and energy, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
