Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Analyst (Implied Role Title)

The Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team originates debt instruments for our extensive corporate, financial, and sovereign client base across North and South America. The DCM team collaborates closely with coverage, Equity Capital Markets (ECM), M&A, syndicate, sales and trading, derivatives, and other core investment banking teams. We advise on capital structure for both regular course financing and special situations. Furthermore, the DCM team works closely with its clients providing structuring and advice on Liability Management and ESG financing.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of pitch materials for capital markets, financing, and capital structure discussions, collaborating closely with DCM originators and other product groups.
• Monitoring and analyzing market data, investment-grade deal flow, and thematic events to provide critical information to internal teams and external clients.
• Assisting in the execution of investment-grade bonds, sustainable finance, and liability management transactions, including managing internal and external deal processes.
• Developing and maintaining relevant analytical DCM models.
• Performing credit analysis on current and prospective clients.
• Formulating pricing indications for the DCM client base across USD, EUR, and other foreign currencies.
• Collaborating with other business lines within the investment bank to prepare internal and external marketing presentations.
• Assisting in managing the workflow and development of junior team members.
• Supporting and maintaining a robust risk control environment to ensure all activity adheres to policy, regulation, and best practice.
